  • 1.Overview

The expansion tank is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly product. The sewage expansion tank is also called the sewage expansion tank. The design and manufacture should be carried out according to the pressure vessel GB150-98. The expansion tank is divided into a continuous sewage expansion tank, a periodic sewage expansion tank and a drain expansion tank.

    2.Working principle

The expansion tank is connected to the sewage outlet of the boiler. It is used to reduce the pressure and expand the steam sewage of the boiler. The sewage is adiabatically expanded in the expander and separated into secondary steam and waste hot water. After expansion, pressure reduction, heat exchange, and then discharged in the expander, the secondary steam is led out by a special pipeline, and the waste hot water is automatically discharged through the float liquid level valve or the overflow regulating valve, and the heat energy can be recovered and reused.

    3.Working process of expansion tank

Boiler blowdown is continuously and evenly connected to the blowdown expansion tank. The blowdown moves tangentially in the cylindrical partition in the middle of the shell and is immediately vaporized into secondary steam. After passing through the upper louvered steam-water separator for steam-water separation, it is introduced into the deaerator through the outlet at the top of the continuous row, and the remaining blowdown is discharged through the water level regulating valve.

    4.Classification

Expansion tanks are divided into vertical and horizontal types according to their structure, and the size is generally calculated by volume.

    5.Advantages

The continuous sewage discharge volume is automatically adjusted with the change of boiler feed water load to maintain a relatively stable sewage discharge rate. Therefore, by using secondary steam and waste hot water as heat sources, part of the heat lost by continuous boiler blowdown can be recovered, thus improving boiler efficiency.
