Product Details

  • 産(chǎn)品描述
  • Low pressure heater is a device used to heat boiler feed water. It is usually installed in the condensate pipeline of the thermal system. It uses the low-pressure extraction steam of the steam turbine or other heat sources to increase the feed water temperature, reduce heat loss and improve thermal efficiency. It is usually used in power plants and industrial boiler systems and is an important part of the thermal system.

    1. Function

1.1. Improve thermal efficiency: preheat condensate, reduce boiler heating burden, and improve system thermal efficiency.

1.2. Reduce thermal stress: reduce the temperature difference of the boiler heating surface and extend the life of the equipment.

1.3. Energy saving and emission reduction: reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and improve system economy.

    2. Structural composition

The low pressure heater is mainly composed of the following components:

2.1. Shell: bears a certain pressure, usually made of carbon steel or stainless steel.

2.2. Heat exchange tube bundle: the core component of steam and water heat exchange, commonly copper tube, stainless steel tube or titanium alloy tube.

2.3. Drain system: used to collect and discharge condensate to prevent the water level from being too high and affecting the heat exchange effect.

2.4. Safety valve and monitoring device: used for pressure protection and operation monitoring to ensure safe and reliable operation of the equipment.

    3. Working principle

The low-pressure heater is usually installed in the condensate system, and the low-pressure extraction steam of the steam turbine enters the tube side of the heater.

The condensate flows through the shell side of the heater, exchanges heat with the steam, and the temperature rises.

The steam gradually condenses into water during the heat exchange process and is discharged to the drain tank or low-level heater through the drain system.

The heated condensate flows to the high-pressure heater or directly into the boiler to complete the cycle.

    4. Classification

    4.1. Classification by structure

Vertical low-pressure heater: small footprint, suitable for places with limited space.

Horizontal low-pressure heater: large heat exchange area, wide application, and easy maintenance.

4.2. Classification by heat exchange method

Surface low-pressure heater: heat exchange is carried out through the tube wall, and steam and condensate are not in direct contact. It is commonly used in power plants and industrial boiler systems.

Hybrid low-pressure heater: steam is directly mixed with water for heat exchange, with high heat exchange efficiency, but high requirements for water quality.

    5. Application areas

5.1. Thermal power plant: used to heat condensate, increase feed water temperature, and improve thermal cycle efficiency.

5.2. Industrial boiler system: increase boiler inlet water temperature, reduce energy consumption, and improve economic benefits.

5.3. Petroleum, chemical, papermaking and other industries: used in the preheating link required in the process to reduce energy loss.
